With a master’s in creative writing and more than 20 years of experience in education and training, Scott brings creativity and a commitment to experiential learning to Encompass’s Instructional Design Team. He designs and develops workshops, eLearning Modules, training videos, and performance aids that emphasize leadership development and sales performance and are rooted in the authentic stories of our clients. A former technology journalist and creative writing professor, Scott’s expertise in the creative process informs his unique approach to learning solutions.
What do you most enjoy about your work?
I love what I do because each day is different. Every client brings a unique mystery we must investigate through questions, research, and imagination. We devise innovative learning journeys that resolve these mysteries. I also take pleasure in building beautiful, elegant solutions that make a real difference.
Hobbies
Writing is my passion. I am a fiction writer, poet, actor, and performer. When I am not plotting out a new project, I enjoy exploring nature through hiking or watching sports and getting immersed in the drama and excitement of the competition.
