Kevin is an accomplished education and training professional who brings more than 20 years of experience in designing electronic and in-person courses to Encompass. His experience spans a host of industries, including pharmaceutical sales, aerospace, transportation and shipping, leadership training, financial services, telecommunications, nonprofit organizations and manufacturing. He has created and delivered a variety of types of training and training tools, including eLearning modules, video courses, instructor-led courses, undergraduate classes, documentation and learning support tools.
Kevin earned a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Auburn University. He has served part-time as a professor at University of North Carolina Wilmington for over 10 years, creating and teaching online courses in industrial psychology to advanced undergraduate students.
What do you most enjoy about your work?
I really enjoy applying the science of behavior to improve workplace performance through training. I like to collaborate with our team to develop creative, engaging approaches to make learning fun and impactful.
Hobbies
I enjoy watching soccer and track & field events that my kids participate in at the high school and college level. After “retiring” as a rec coach, I now spend quite a bit of time recording games and then collecting and analyzing data from the performance.
